Botanist at Portland State University's Institute for Natural Resources, conducting Lotic MIM Surveys across eastern Oregon. Previously worked for the Great Basin Institute conducting terrestrial AIM surveys across northern and western Nevada.
Bachelor's in Biology from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR.
Interested in the riparian vegetation of the semi-arid American West, as well as the local diversity of Phrymaceae across the Great Basin and Pacific Northwest. Previously studied the species richness of oak and beech species found across the Portland metro area with the Lewis & Clark Biology Dept. and Portland Parks & Rec. Helping to confirm identifications within the genera Tsuga, Pseudotsuga, and Abies across the U.S. Pacific Northwest, Alaska, and British Columbia.
Outside of Pinaceae species of the Pacific Northwest, British Columbia, California, and New England, I'm most closely familiar with the flora of the Great Basin of Oregon and Nevada, and the Blue Mountains of eastern Oregon.
