Since the Great Nature Project launched in 2013, observations from this project within iNaturalist have contributed to the photo stream on www.greatnatureproject.org. Now you can upload photos directly from the Great Nature Project website, and they are added to iNaturalist! We are very excited about this collaboration and look forward to working together to connect people to nature and grow our communities of nature lovers.

I spent about 15 months in Tanzania between 2008 and 2011 collecting data for my Ph.D. Most of that time was in the Amani Nature Reserve in NE Tanzania, but I managed to visit a handful of other places in the country (not nearly as many as I would have liked!). I've posted a handful of photos from my first trip in 2008.
