Heads up: Some or all of the identifications affected by this split may have been replaced with identifications of Eurata. This happens when we can't automatically assign an identification to one of the output taxa. Review identifications of Eurata strigiventris 415132

Taxonomic Split 127550 (Δημιουργήθηκε στις 27-06-2023)

The moth most authors in the past have called "Eurata strigiventris", with interrupted orange bands on abdomen dorsum, was actually referring to a species different from the true Eurata strigiventris, with complete orange bands on the abdomen dorsum.

This was noted by Zerny, 1937 and received the name nov. of Eurata marcia:

This is also explained by Pinheiro and Gaal-Haszler, 2015: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25781758/
