I am currently busy with a masters degree from Nelson Mandela University in alien plant ecology. I have obtained my National Diploma and Btech in nature conservation from NMU as well. Additionally, I've completed a young biologist course from the Two Oceans Aquarium, a snake-handling course and a Birdlife course. I also hold a level 1 within the Field Guides Association of South Africa.

I have a passion for the wellbeing of the environment and the sustainability of our planet. This was fostered from a young age by visiting nature reserves, reading nature books, watching nature films and growing up in an urban coastal setting. My knowledge and awareness was furthered by my university studies and has amplified my need to spread this knowledge to others via direct communication or through research. I am especially interested in alien plant ecology.

Throughout my university career I have learnt and gained valuable skills like communication, computer skills, working with various tools and machinery, scientific and report writing, presenting, working alone and in groups, time management and many more. This was all facilitated by my dedication and determination and belief that sowing the seeds of hard work will be rewarded.
