I am a researcher at the Burke Museum herbarium at the University of Washington. My real name is Mark Darrach, but I now appear to be stuck forever as Lomatium Larry here in the iNaturalist world. I specialize in Apiaceae subfamily Apiodeae and am active in the taxonomy and ongoing work in the molecular phylogeny of this group of well over 200 species and, at present, 19 separate, but generally ill-defined, genera.
