I maintain the "StepScape" website of published day walks in Tasmania.

I see a lot of Sugden's Flatworms / canary worms (Fletchamia sugdeni), even when walking with other people who don't.

In September 2012 I started carrying a camera with built-in GPS (a Canon PowerShot S100). Since then, I've been photographing and labelling most of what the species I see on bushwalks, but haven't known how to share it. Having created an iNaturalist account in 2019, I'm uploading eight years of accumulated natural history, one species at a time. I apologise to anyone who finds I'm swamping the identification queue. Eventually I'll run out of old sightings, and only add new ones at the rate that I see them.

Since my newer camera doesn't have GPS, I record a trace on my phone and use an application called HoudahGeo to map the GPX file generated to the time stamps on my photographs. The location measurement error will be a combination of my phone's error and the accuracy of the time stamps. It should be no more than 100 metres.
