I started a perennial garden in 2014... and soon got interested in native plants of North Carolina and the Southeastern US. I have a background in literature - and love the names of plants (esp. common names) and the art of description along with the plants themselves! Very much an amateur observer. Looking forward to learning from the iNaturalist community!!
