Growing from mycelial mats with white rhizomorphic hyphae at base and throughout substrate (bamboo debris). Odor and taste not remarkable. Pileus margin with subtle pinkish hue when fresh. Spores ellipsoid about 5×3. Clamps present, basidia 4 spored, cystidia absent. Hyphae inflated up to 10um in context.

On bamboo branch (Bambusa vulgaris). Separable from surface. Spores inamyloid, asperulate, about 3um. Thin to thick walled hyphae present with clamps. Basidioles short cylindrical with basal clamp, no sterigmata observed (possibly very inconspicuous for low end microscope). Crystals on hymenium surface, cystidia absent.

On pine. Dull pileus surface with a laccate margin. Cuticle rigid, hard. Cuticle cell structure generally difficult to distinguish/fused together in non laccate areas, perhaps more regular and clearly separated in young lacquer at margin. Likewise amyloidity weak in dull cuticle, possibly stronger in laccate portions. Spores diverse but generally large with truncated apex
