These are meant to illustrate how someone might use a project like this to select a genotype from a very specific geographic location (or a single species from multiple locations).

There are no seed offerings from Clermont County yet. I recently heard a story of Delphinium volunteering from within uncut grass in the Eastfork watershed! Can you imagine? A colony of larkspur from simply not mowing. It makes me want to try that specific genotype in my backyard in Hamilton County. What I need is a group of brilliant people willing to see beyond the distant horizon to a place where ephemerals are shared between ecological islands by humans instead of ants. Why should ants have all the glory? They can't even figure out how to use the crosswalk when carrying seeds across Beechmont Avenue.
