Self Defense
What Republicans and Libertarians tend to not get is that every act of pollution, of littering, or of exploitation or spoliation of public lands, is a trespass and an assault on the rights of the public. To pollute air or water or ground is like barging into somebody's living room and throwing trash on the floor, and lighting up a stogie and stinking up the house and proclaiming "I have a RIGHT to do this." And then going into homes all around the hood and doing the same.
Just as one has a right to defend home and family against a home invasion so imo do we have the RIGHT to take out polluters and despoilers, by force if necessary. It is a matter of self defense.
