"Following"
Yeah, I know I'm not "following" anyone. Plenty worth following; could name 4-5 right off the bat. Trouble is, "following" could turn out to be a more than full-time job if it were say Ellen5 or Amzapp. Do I need to take on a non-paying full-time job? Enough, already, appears on my dashboard.

Haha! Yeah, the more folks that you 'follow' the more things that pop up on the dashboard. I tend to not use my dashboard too too much -- I use the 'identify' link and then just limit to my specific region to help out with identifications. It's a great way to learn what's in an area! :)
