I’m a keen birder and naturalist who roams the planet in search of biological thrills. I’ve seen well over half of the world’s bird species in over 70 countries on every continent. Thanks to some bumbling around in forgotten Himalayan valleys and remote Indonesian islands where I rediscovered some 'lost' birds, I managed to get myself inducted as a fellow of both the Explorers Club and the Royal Canadian Geographical Society.
I’ve recently become obsessed with dragonflies and tiger beetles. When I’m not burning tons of fossil fuel while traveling the globe, I live in an off-grid home on Pelee Island in Canada’s deep south. 🥺😄
