I am a retired Ecologist and Program Coordinator who previously worked in the Protected Areas Policy Section of the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources. I live in Peterborough ON, and spend much of my time birding, botanizing, and observing arthropods and other biota in the local area and abroad. I have conducted numerous biological inventories in natural areas throughout the province, and I've contributed to both rounds of the Ontario Breeding Bird Atlas. I now also spend some of my time as a volunteer with the Kawartha Land Trust, assessing the ecological values of potential properties and building up the biological information base on secured properties.
