I am a naturalist and an amateur photographer, specialising in macros of insects and spiders, strictly in their natural environment. I also like observing and photographing birds, but mainly when there are no insects around.
My special interests in insects currently include some Hymenoptera groups especially bees, Chrysididae, Crabronidae and Pompilidae. I am also fond of some Diptera families, particularly Syrphidae, Tachinidae, Stratiomyidae and Conopidae.
