I'm a Chinese international student studying in Lincoln University in Canterbury, New Zealand. Strongly interested in Anostostomatidae of NZ, especially the subfamily Deinacridinae that consist of genus "Hemideina", tree weta and "Deinacrida", giant weta.

Rich experiences in identification of the subfamily Deinacridinae. Until now I've recorded 6 different species of tree wetas and 4 species of giant wetas in their living habitats and pretty familiar with the behaviors of these impressive creatures.
