I grew up hiking in forests and wading in streams. I was fascinated by insects and birds and with the help of my parents, I was always trying to identify what I found. When I was 18, my parents gave me a Canon T50 SLR and I was hooked on photographing the natural world around me as well. I now live near Clifton, Ohio where I am frequently shooting nature photos both for pleasure and to sell as framed art and greeting cards. I love iNaturalist because it gives me a place to share my love of nature with the world and to get help identifying much of what I find
