My main interests revolve around conservation and restoration, especially of remnant prairies and oak savannas in the Midwest.
I am very interested in community-based conservation programs and their application in the US. I enjoy learning about fire ecology and talking about practical environmental protection policy.

Current goal: Document seasonal flora change in the Iowa driftless region.

Next goal: Document Great Basin endemic plants.
