I am an entomologist based at the Laurentian Forestry Centre (NRCanada) in Québec, specializing in the diverse world of insects. My research journey led me to complete my MSc degree, focusing on the intriguing relationship between seasonal availability, tree species, and the early response of saproxylic insects, specifically Coleoptera and Hymenoptera.

Throughout my career, I have been an active member of several entomological associations in both France and Canada. Since 2018, I have proudly been a member of the Société d’entomologie du Québec (SEQ). In France, I have participated in various inventory projects, gaining hands-on experience in studying and identifying insects.

My passion lies particularly in the taxonomy of beetles, with a keen interest in families such as Staphylinidae, Buprestidae, Carabidae, Cerambycidae, Cetoniidae, Cantharidae, and other saproxylic insect groups. Understanding the intricacies of their classification and unraveling their ecological roles have been captivating aspects of my work. Recently, I have also embarked on the fascinating journey of identifying treehoppers and leafhoppers (Membracidae and Cicadellidae).

While I do my best to give accurate identifications, it's important to remember that entomology is a continuous learning experience. Making mistakes is just a natural part of this process, and I see them as chances to grow my expertise.

As an entomologist here, I'm excited to help out and share what I know. Don't hesitate to join in on conversations, ask questions, or get help with identifying insects! 😊
