I am a retired plant biology professor but I am not an expert at plant ID. I do know some people who are, but I am not one of them so feel free to challenge my IDs. Our back yard (Raleigh, NC) is now native habitat and I love seeing who shows up, especially pollinators. We travel a lot and I also love seeing how diversity unfolds in different areas. I seem to learn best by making mistakes - and I am very grateful to all those who take the time to correct me and help me learn.
