I'm an undergrad college student from California. I haven't committed to a major yet, but I want to study zoology, ecology, and environmental science.
I'm not an expert on any taxon, but I try to help out by giving basic higher level IDs to observations left as "unknown". These basic initial identifications will help make sure specialist identifiers can find the observation and give it a more specific identification.
I also put basic annotations on observations, such "flowering" for plants or life stage for insects, to help provide more data points for the seasonality charts on iNaturalist. Please message me to let me know if I made a mistake of any kind in my annotations.
