Science Teacher and former Director of the University of Alabama Arboretum. My expertise is in identifying southeastern native plants, with experience identifying insects, soil invertebrates, fungi, and introduced plants. My scientific training is in ecology- plant, soil, and forest- and I am an experienced science educator. I enjoy learning new species and teaching about the ecology and biodiversity of Alabama.
