I am a dressage instructor and trainer, and of course I love being outside in nature! I also have, since moving permanently to north Alabama, become interested in hiking, caving, and photographing everything which I find interesting....which is pretty much everything! I especially like photographing mushrooms, and since discovering my first Chanterelles, and looking them up online, and discovering they are EDIBLE, I have developed a huge interest in foraging for edible mushroom species. I already have many photos of all different kinds, but in the interest of specific location IDs, I am going to only post future photos as I take them. :-)
I am also interested in all other sorts of flora and fauna that are found in this beautiful area! Looking forward to networking with others so I can become more educated!
