I’m an academic in another field who caught the mushroom bug nearly a decade ago. I’m currently the acting president of Gulf South Mycological Society. I’m especially interested in the Boletaceae, the Amanitaceae, and the Hydnaceae.

As a longtime Mushroom Observer user, I have been learning and will continue to learn how best to serve the INat community. I’ve had an account for a long time but haven’t used it in earnest until Jan 2023 (when I realized I could import my MO observations into INat).
