I am interested in document the diversity of amphibians and reptiles of Colombia. My research interests are to explain the patterns and mechanisms of speciation in the Neotropics by combining morphological, molecular, bioacoustic and distributional data. Currently, I am the curator of the Museo de Herpetología Universidad de Antioquia (MHUA) and associate professor at the Biology Institute at the Universidad de Antioquia, Medellin, Colombia.
