My wife and I have 5 acres of land that originally was part of a pineapple farm. Over a period of 20 years we have planted multiple native plants whilst allowing vegetation endemic to the area to emerge ( lots of hand weeding). I would estimate that the latter would account roughly for 25% of the property. We spend a lot of time in the garden and enjoy finding new plants that have popped up in different area and the wide variety of birdlife that the flowering natives attract. Majority of observations submitted are from our property. We love nature as a whole and enjoy monthly nature walks with the Wildlife Society.
