I have always loved the outdoors. As a child, I could spend hours outside getting muddy while pretending to be an intrepid explorer in the wilderness. I was lucky enough to have the best job in the world- park ranger- for 13 years. Now that I sit in a cubicle M-F, I like to spend after work and weekends exploring the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. I can't imagine a better way to spend time than being outside; I enjoy using iNat to share with others and see what other people are finding. I love all of it- birds, butterflies, dragonflies, snakes, frogs, fungi- but I am particularly interested in North Texas odes.

I currently use a Nikon P900 and for plants and fungi, I often use my phone.
