University of North Texas Ecology student interested in plant identification, microbial & chemical ecology, and biogeochemistry.

A few of my favorite insects are wood-boring beetles, dragonflies, grasshoppers, cicadas, and parasitoid wasps.

I am currently in Illinois working at the Morton Arboretum working on an ecto-mycorrhizal (ECM) traits research project, where I am temporally analyzing enzymatic activity in the soil containing ECM in plots that have White Pine and Shagbark Hickory trees.

I previously worked as a Lab Technician in Dr. Elinor Lichtenberg Plant-Pollinator interaction lab. The lab researches the effects of different methods of cattle grazing on pollinators. I use iNaturalist to identify and research different plants while curating profiles of how to identify them in the field for the lab's field techs.
