I'm a 65 year old pathologist. My husband and I live on a 43 acre nature preserve which we've created out of an old horse farm. We have 15 acres of tall grass prairie (20 years old) and 2 woodlands covering about 15 acres. We just added a new 10 acres that we will restore with more prairie and more woods.
We have counted over 100 species of plants in our prairies and 112 species of birds on our land.
And of course we are a Monarch habitat.
And we have conservation easement on The Land with Red-tail Conservancy.
