I have a diploma in nature conservation and have been working with rhino and their protection since 2013 in Kruger national park and Ezemvelo KZN wildlife. I have recently moved to the Western Cape and now live in the Swartland, near Riebeeck Kasteel on a farm. I am absolutely fond of plants and have recently started a personal project to find as many as possible endemic and non-endemic species of the Swartland Shale Renosterveld. I want to focus on the Riebeeck valley, especially Kasteel berg and the farms around the area.

I also have a software developer background and I'm working on a plant identification app for your smartphone that integrates iNaturalist.
