Nashville birder and nature photographer. Keep trying to get active on iNaturalist, but mainly seem to be here to keep tabs on any rare bird reports and starting to keep butterfly and Odenate life lists.

I have a BS in Biology from Eckerd College (1996), worked briefly for the FL Dept. of Environmental Protection (Marine Research Institute) before a dozen years working in the Pathology department at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Trying to focus on photography and videography full time now. I am much more active on eBird, and am an eBird reviewer for 3 counties in Middle Tennessee. I am also a member of the Warner Parks B.I.R.D. research committee here in Nashville.
