I am a marine biologist working at Okeanos - Institute of Marine Sciences, University of the Azores. My areas of interest are the taxonomy, genetics and conservation of elasmobranchs, specially deep-water species. I am also involved in studies of marine diversity, fish biology and demersal fisheries.
