I am a systematist specializing in petaloid monocots in the Greater Cape Floristic Region, South Africa. My research interests are in Amaryllis, Brunsvigia, Hessea, Strumaria, Namaquanula, Haemanthus and Cyrtanthus (family Amaryllidaceae), as well as Pauridia and Empodium in the family Hypoxidaceae.
