Caught the ID bug with singing insects in the late naughties, picked up with birds and general curiosity for other creepy-crawlies and insects, lately pursuing local dragonflies thanks to the help of a project with fantastic membership; observing flora along the way. Tend to shift focus to keep exploring different habitats, or the same habitats differently. I am quiet and still, and iNat has encouraged me to carry my camera again after leaving it behind in favor of a mic. I greatly appreciate corrections, and education even more. I often end up taking a whack at ID's far outside my areas of familiarity, and sometimes mis-ID even within the wheel hoss.
