Aspiring botanist, studying Plant Sciences at the University of Pretoria, with a keen interest in the orchids of Africa and in particular the summer rainfall areas of South Africa. Based in Pretoria, South Africa, it is my mission to find all the orchid species documented within the province, I have currently found and photographed 48 species in Gauteng; with a goal to find the remaining taxa previously recorded within our borders. I am also working on finding Streptocarpus across their range, taking photographs of the various species in their natural habitat and documenting how and where they grow, from forested gorges to rocky hills and under rocks.
