My name is Amanda Wilkins and I am fortunate to be the Garden Curator at Juniper Level Botanic Garden (www.jlbg.org)!

I hail from North Carolina, but I have traveled all over the world in the name of plants, horticulture, and botanical gardens.

My undergraduate degree is in horticulture and I also have minors in plant biology and agroecology. My Masters is in the Biodiversity and Taxonomy of Plants from the University of Edinburgh and the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.

My main love is botanical gardens, and I believe in the power of gardens to help protect plants and educate people.
