I am a very amateur, but very passionate entomology enthusiast. I am trying to learn as much as I can through books, fieldwork, classes, and of course - online resources like this one.

I have been around science my whole life, and being an accessory to it has shaped me into who I am. Finding a bug or a plant on a fieldwork trip, showing it to the absurdly knowledgeable scientist near me, and learning all about it - is what sustains me. After my father's death, who was an internationally recognized botanist, iNaturalist became my closest path to this lifestyle - and so I shall take it.
