Hello! My name is Alessandra. I studied Biology at the University of Victoria and am building a career combining biology and GIS. It is my lifelong pursuit to learn about and connect with the natural world around me. My knowledge is mostly of coastal British Columbia where I grew up and live now, but I also have a growing knowledge of Rocky Mountain flora and fauna. My favourite taxa are wildflowers, marine invertebrates and algae, and in particular, amphibians! I hope you enjoy my observations.
