Small Remnant at Goodenow Grove?

One of the field trips I took during the this years Illinois Native Plant Society Annual Gathering was to Goodenow Grove Nature Preserve. Judith Wallace of the Will County Forest Preserve lead the walk. She was a great guide and has a real passion for the sight.
The most interesting part was a small area that appears to be remnant prairie. Judith has arial photos over 50 years old that show a small clearing in the woods. Judy believes this was before any of the area was managed and that this is truly remnant prairie.
It is small, 70 to 100 feet long and tapering from about 30 to 15 feet wide. It is slightly challenging to access, but, could benefit from a visit from someone who knows much more than I do. I don't know enough to judge the quality of the area. It can be accessed from the NE of my 8/4/2018 Ironweeds observation. The area begins roughly there and is marked by my observations on that day towards the SW.
Judith also expressed a desire to have a sedge expert identify the species there and in the surrounding wooded area. Since she began management of the wooded area west of the fire access road she has seen numerous sedge species appear.
If anyone needs more info about how to access it, please message me. Contacting Judy might get you a guide, especially if you know sedges.
