Cool to see another one. Flew right by me and landed next to one of the water runoff streams leading to the river.
Saw a few walking but this one came out to pose, then went back into the grass.
Found this shell due to predation. Parts of the meat were still attached to the shell.
Another nest closer to the water had a mother and I believe 2 sub adults. Not too sure on the age, I just know there were 3 flying around this nest.
Note: Thought I add, from Clarksville to here the total count of ospreys seen today was 7; my wife and I also saw 4 bald eagles as well, unfortunately I wasn't able to get a pic of the eagles.
