Found growing in little embankments formed by tree roots intermingled with ferns and mosses. The area was densely wooded with the canopy in the main being produced by Karee. Quite cool, but not really moist (though there should be lots of run-off in rainy times).
Dry vegetative growth and flower spike (including dehisced seed pods) from the previous year. New season's growth emerging next to old plant. Found only two. Both approximately 300mm tall.
A second wasp emerged from the bucket my mopani worms are pupating in.
