Stem transection rounded, leaves alternate, stems and leaves tomentose/soft and woolly, two leaves forming in axillary buds.
Found in dry sclerophyll woodland amongst conglomerate boulders on steep west facing escarpment.
Only c.10 mature individuals present and clustered within 15m2 footprint. No other observed in the broader natural landscape.
Occurring as an isolated stand of 5 individuals in a protected south east facing gully on conglomerate and mudstone, on the edge of western blue mountains and central tablelands. Also had Myrsine howitianna in the understory.
Leaves very faintly discolorous, blue-green and dull blue/grey green. Fruits barrel shaped, 7 mm x 7 mm, descending disk, appears to be 4 vertically dividing ovules, valve deteriorated on old fruits.
Some cross over features with Eucalyptus obliqua, however this would be in the extreme extent of its range. Unable to obtain mature adult canopy leaves, only developed young leaves which were very wide.
