Bonny Doon Ecological Preserve

these guy are terrible to the hands. i used to work at a garden in carmel and was familiar with stinging nettles. they were not nice. the spikiness on the edges of the leaves were a big giveaway
When looking through inaturalist's archives I mainly kept coming across the name sheep's sorrel and compared the images of mine and the archive's. So after some debate I landed on this identification
I found this pine tree in an area that wasn't "modernized" by others so I made the deduction that it was a natural pine tree of the area
