Virgin's Bower Clematis virginiana at the Ray Farm near Cape May, NJ. Although pretty, this plant is considered invasive in NJ.
Will be taken to the Academy of Natural Sciences for preservation/research (that's why it is in a bag)
Growing near water. The tallest tree was about 4-5 feet tall.
A pair of piping plovers nested on the beach near me and I'm finally getting around to uploading the photos. I'm pretty sure this is the male which was unbanded.
Immature bald eagle? It was probably around 3 feet tall. (sorry for the bad pictures, I'm still getting used to my new camera)
