We saw this in the country. It’s a prairie dog out in the country. It’s brown with a little bit of white. We had to kill all the prairie dogs so a farmer could farm. He is a light brown color with a black nose. He’s a cute little thing and gets scared if anyone comes around.

I’m all about snakes and don’t like killing them if I don’t have to. However, this long 6 foot snake tried to get in my grandparent’s house out in manor. It was quite a surprise. They have a big problem with snakes eating their chicken and peacock eggs too. At least it wasn’t a rattle snake or coral snake. The last two snakes they found near their house were venomous. My uncle killed this one with a shovel just before it slithered inside. A few months ago, they actually had a snake in their couch! Not sure how they are getting in there! Don’t worry though, they usually leave the snakes alone as long as the snakes aren’t near the house.
