A pika called for about 5 sec, seemed to be from beyond north side of Jakey Lake. The previous evening near dusk I had surveyed for about 15 min in the talus/rockfall east of the lake, and found the old pellets shown buried in duff, and old urine whitewash, but no current sign.
Found this deceased in the trail. Appeared matted in couple places, as though mouthed.
