hillcraddock's Identifications

Rare; single tree in rich, rocky mixed woods along mountain stream. The only reason I gave this a second look is because I saw a single inflorescence that looked fabaceous (yes, that should be a word); the combination of those flowers and the leaves didn't compute in my mind, so I had to investigate. Very cool to find this tree in its native habitat!
