Growing on a yard, out of buried wood, probably a root.
Spores smooth (8-9) x (6.3-7.1); Basidia 26×10; Cheilocystidia with acute tips (40-44) x (10-14); Pseudoparaphyses spherical with a short foot (17 × 11).
I think it’s H. Calvatum (is it now Sarcadon calvatus) group. Brown spore print. Taste is mild, maybe slightly spicy, mildly fragrant.
Growing in mossy area near mixed conifers primarily white fir.
Green tinge, no odor. Mild spermatic taste. Near Abies grandis.
