These manatees were huddles in a group of about 10 and there were swimming along the sea wall. They were about 5 ft long and about 3 ft wide.
This pair of manatees were swimming along in a canal where an electricity facility emptied out warm water into it. They would occasionally play with each other. They were both brownish, with algae on their backs.
We saw five animals in pens which they are preparing to release as part of a reintroduction project.
