Transition zone between montane coniferous forest and the twenty year post-fire successional regrowth (montane chaparral) from the Manter Fire. Slight slope facing east. Substrate decomposed granite, granitic boulders, and duff. w/ Pinus jeffreyi, Pinus lambertiana, Abies magnifica var. shastensis, Arctostaphylos patula, Keckiella rothrockii, Chrysolepis sempervirens, Erysimum sp., Penstemon sp., Eriogonum sp., Linanthus sp.
Localized to the partially-shaded stream that feeds into Quaking Aspen Meadow off of Hwy 190, mixed fir and pine forest, Southern Sierra Nevada, Sequoia National Forest, Tulare County, California. ~7000-ft.
All individuals in fruit at this time. Determinations to species based off length of spikelet in fruit (>4mm). Need to investigate lemma venation under scope.
