This species occurs in cloud forest areas around Palawan at an altitude of 1000 meters and up. Specimens were found both on the ground up to 2 meter high in dwarf oak trees. This is the first confirmed sighting of this species in over 10 years and additionally this is a new locality for this species. These are the first pictures of this species. This is a male calling.
